EXTENDED BF Logo Announcement WEB Copy

We need your creativity to help us build awareness and engagement with the Benevolent Fund!

The purpose of the Benevolent Fund Logo Contest is to crowdsource NEPPA’s members to get involved, engaged and increase awareness of the BF by owning its branding!

As the Fund continues to grow, we are looking for an image that captures the spirit of NEPPA and the Benevolent Fund.

About the Benevolent Fund:

As a family, public power systems in New England have always rallied to provide support when tragedy strikes, donating time, skills and financial resources to assist during a period of need.

NEPPA's Benevolent Fund was established to continue the tradition of providing support and resources in times of need.

All funds raised and received are designated to be disbursed to public power employees, or their families, undergoing financial difficulties due to personal injury, illness or death of the employee.

Themes:

  • Lineworkers
  • Family
  • Line Life
  • Safety
  • Community Powered

Who can submit Logos?

  • A team of NEPPA member employees -- up to two per team, including solo teams
  • Teams may consist of individuals from the same or different companies.
  • Directors and General Managers may not be part of any team but should be considered resources for all teams – reach out for advice or ideas!

Logo presentation:

  • Each team will have up to 5 minutes to make a presentation (or submit a video) to a panel of judges on February 15, 2019. *Presentation date is subject to change.
  • Teams should be prepared to answer any questions that judges may pose.
  • For the purpose of developing their logo, each team may have up to $100 in reimbursable expenses, to be approved by Sarah Klingler.
