2020 CDL A License Training

NEPPA is pleased to announce that we have partnered with the New England Tractor Trailer Training School (NETTTS) to coordinate and offer the CDL A License training and testing to our members.
The Program requires 4 in-person classroom training days, as well as 15 field training days to prepare for both the written and road exams.
The CDL A In-Person Training will be held March 9 - 12, 2020 at the NEPPA Training Center (200 New Estate Road, Littleton, MA 01460) from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm each day.
Class is SOLD OUT. All new registrations will be placed on a waiting list. NEPPA may optionally increase the class size by adding instructors in order to accommodate those on the waiting list.
Who Should Attend
Anyone who needs a CDL A License as part of their regular job duties.

After the classroom training, students will be split up into groups of four to conduct the field training days (held every two weeks) which is conducted at:

Hands-On and Behind the Wheel Field Training
Once you have finished the classroom training, students will put the skills and techniques learned to work. This part of the Class A CDL training is hands-on and teaches maneuvering and inspection (inlcuding inspection measures).

Road Training
Students will practice on the road with one of NETTTS' driving instructors who come from the industry and have experience behind the wheel.
Instructors will take students on different driving routes around town and on the highway. Driving side-by-side with a trainer, students will learn upshifting and downshifting to help give the hands on experience and confidence needed for the exam and the job.
*** Companies who wish to use their own trucks (i.e. bucket trucks with a trailer), NETTTS must approve the vehicle. In addition, all company vehicles must be registered, insured and be able to pass a safety inspection.
Course Prerequisites
All students must have a valid driver's license and D.O.T. medical card.
