Join Sterling Municipal Light Department and Hometown Connections on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm for the Technology Workshop: Smart Municipalities & Smart Utilities.  

 

 

About the Workshop

There is a tremendous opportunity for municipalities and utilities to leverage and integrate advanced technology to provide new services for their constituents and customers. And for utilities these new technologies also provide operating efficiencies and increased reliability.

 


This workshop will be presented by Sterling Municipal Light Department, Hometown Connections, Inc. and two Hometown Partners AESI-US, Inc. and Milsoft Utility Solutions. Hometown Connections, is a national, non-profit utility services organization specializing in the unique challenges facing community-owned utilities. Hometown Connections works with utilities of all sizes, facilitating access to technology, services, and other solutions from industry­ leading companies.

 

This workshop will include an overview of Smart Municipalities and Smart Utilities, opportunities with Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), and opportunities with Smart Technology. There will be opportunity for networking time for the workshop participants.
