Substation Technician Training 2010

This program covers the function, types and key components of substations, and combines classroom instruction with hands-on, practical application. The majority of the program will be held at the NEPPA Training Facility in Pascoag, RI, although field trips to substations in various locations may be included.

This program has two levels, Module One and Module Two, which are offered in alternate years. Module One will be offered in 2010, and Module Two in 2011. Students may select the Module that fits with their experience and their learning goals. Those who enroll in Module One may, if they choose, continue with Module Two. Certificates will be awarded at the completion of each Module.
