Electric utility linework is constantly evolving, requiring new skills, new knowledge, and new approaches to problem-solving. Experienced lineworkers, despite their years on the job, must be able to keep up with these changes, and continue their learning throughout each stage of their careers.

This program is designed for experienced lineworkers, whether or not they have completed a formal apprentice training program. It covers a wide variety of topics which address all aspects of advanced linework for distribution utilities. Because the range of lineworker duties varies among NEPPA member systems, based on utility size, these topics will be customized according to the needs and experience of participants.
