Annual Membership Meeting

Michael Hyland, APPA Vice President of Engineering Services, will speak at NEPPA’s Annual Membership Meeting on Dec. 7 at Devens Commons, Devens, Mass. He will discuss RP3, APPA's program to encourage public power systems to demonstrate basic proficiency in four important disciplines: reliability, safety, training and system improvement.
 
Hyland has been with APPA since 1996 and was responsible for the creation and development of the RP3 program, as well as the APPA Public Power Lineworkers Rodeo, management and oversight of the APPA Safety Manual and its revisions, and growth of the DEED program.

Before joining APPA, he was employed by Northeast Utilities/Public Service of New Hampshire and has B.S.E.E. from Drexel University.
