his program will combine classroom instruction with hands-on, practical applications in the field. The classroom portion of the program will be held at the NEPPA Training Facility in Pascoag, R.I., and field trips to substations in different locations will also be scheduled.
The 2011 Substation Program is the second module of this program which was begun in 2010.
Module Two will focus on the following major topics:
- Circuit Breakers II
- Relays II
- Safe Handling of SF6
- Vacuum Bottle Highpot Testing
- Circuit breaker Time Travel Testing and Analysis
- Schweitzer Relays
- Control Equipment
